This is a video that I made for my JMC 305 class, where I was assigned to make an explainer video of something. At first I was kind of daunted by the concept because it seemed so technical. When I brainstormed, I knew the WNBA was what I wanted to cover. I wish so many more people knew about the league, since it is so great! So, this was my attempt to educate people about it. I challenge everyone to watch at least one WNBA game, the level of the talent is world class.
The Review is a Blaze’s variety news show where we cover: student life, international news, sustainability, music/culture, and sports. We pretty much have everything that you need to know about the world in one hour! We’re like Good Morning America, at night, done by overcaffinated college students. Our show can be found on Spotify, and all major platforms
Here is an RSS feed of the show for anyone who wants it
This is the second video I made for my JMC 305 class. Our task was to make a news report with an interview, and a certain amount of b roll shots. I was again not sure what to do, but the greenery in my backyard inspired me. Being that it was Earth Day when I made the video, I felt it was fitting to give a fresh perspective on the holiday. I interviewed ASU student Elizabeth Pfeiffer, and she gave amazing answers. This video is a great example of how creativity can help elevate your work.

While with friends at the UCENT building, I was able to get this amazing shot. While I’m not a photographer, I’m very proud of this picture.

The infographic assignment for my JMC 305 class is where I particularly thrive. I love infographics and had always wondered how they were made. Once I went into Canva, I realized just how creative you can get. Indie movies are my favorite genre of film, so I decided to showcase my favorite characters.
